Regent Develops Program for Physician Partners to Achieve Savings in their Practices

On February 5, 2010, Regent Surgical Health and their corporate partner, Amerinet, held a training session for our partner's physician practice managers at The Center for Special Surgery at TCA on how to lower their supply costs. This was the pilot for a new program we will be rolling out this year that will give our partners physician practices access to the Amerinet group purchasing contracts used by our surgery centers and physician owned hospitals.

The portfolio of savings opportunities for physician practices will cover 57 contract categories including office supplies, phlebotomy supplies, microscopes, orthopedic soft goods, casting and bracing supplies. Along with a training session Amerinet will provide a representative to each practice that will assist in reviewing current purchasing habits and make recommendations on products and services that will lower cost.

In addition to maximizing savings opportunities thru the Regent/Amerinet contracts, our partners have access to practice management tools for vaccines, inflationary indices, web based education and employee access contracts.
