Chris Bishop, Chief Executive Officer at Regent Surgical Health, will join CEOs from 67 hospitals and health systems nationwide as a speaker at the Becker’s Hospital Review 6th Annual CEO + CFO Roundtable, slated for November 13-15, 2017 at the Westin Hotel, Chicago, IL.

His topic? “How to Double your Ambulatory Platform by 2020.”

As one of more than 122 executives speaking at the conference on core issues, opportunities and strategies for hospital leadership, Bishop’s talk will help hospital leaders think through four key questions to deliver value-based care cost-effectively by doubling their ambulatory platform over the next three to four years.

As a rule of thumb, Bishop recommends hospitals take a hard look at internal capabilities when making decisions about whether to partner with an established resource in the community or build from within to add ambulatory bandwidth. “To compete, you’re going to need a great ambulatory team, best in class,” he says. “If you’re not best in class at a particular specialty, don’t do it yourself. Get a partner with a track record of success in the space.”

Known as a forum for some of the best business-focused, strategic discussions in the healthcare Industry, the Becker’s Hospital Review CEO Roundtable expects to draw more than 1,000 attendees from hospitals and health systems across the nation. Bishops talk is schedule for Monday, November 13, from 12:45 – 1:25 p.m. CST.
