Two representatives from Regent Surgical Health’s leadership team are featured speakers at Becker’s Hospital Review 9th Annual Meeting, taking place April 11-14, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Chris Bishop, Chief Executive Officer at Regent Surgical Health, will give a presentation on the topic, “Double Your Ambulatory Platform by 2020.” Bishop’s talk outlines how market dynamics are leading hospitals to partner with ambulatory surgery centers, and how partnerships can be structured to be advantageous to both physicians and hospitals.

“Hospital leaders can provide value-based care cost-effectively by increasing their ambulatory bandwidth,” he says. “It’s important to take an honest look at your hospital’s internal capabilities – and if you can benefit from working with an ASC partner in a certain specialty.”

Bishop emphasizes that shifting reimbursement risk from payers to hospitals and providers presents a growth opportunity for systems that can offer enhanced strategies. Bishop’s talk is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11 from 1:05 to 1:45 p.m.

Thomas Crossen, Chief Development Officer at Regent Surgical Health, will be a panel speaker on the subject of Hospital/ASC Joint Ventures. Crossen will join Lisa Rock, President, National Medical Billing Services, in a discussion moderated by Megan Wood, a reporter at Becker’s Healthcare. The panel is slated for Wednesday, April 11 from 10:40 to 11:20 a.m.

Bishop and Crossen join more than 275 healthcare executives speaking at the conference. An exclusive event expected to draw more than 3,000 attendees from across the country, Becker’s Hospital Review 9th Annual Meeting facilitates business-focused, strategic discussions around the most pressing topics in the healthcare industry. This year’s celebrity keynote speakers include former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
