Vice President of Risk Management and Clinical Operations

Kathleen Bernicky, BSN, is Vice President of Risk Management and Clinical Operations at Regent Surgical Health. Kathleen oversees risk management and clinical operations for Regent’s facilities. She assists Regent’s surgery centers with risk analysis and resolution, maintaining quality assurance and ongoing performance improvement. She’s responsible for overseeing all activities related to patient safety. Kathleen also currently serves on the ASC Quality Collaboration Committee.

Kathleen’s experience in the ASC industry includes extensive regulatory compliance experience with de novo and turnaround projects, along with monitoring and managing ongoing facility compliance and re-accreditation.

Kathleen has over 39 years of both clinical and administrative experience in the healthcare industry. Before joining Regent, she was CNO of Surgical Hospital of Munster, Ind., and the Emergency Department Manager at Community Hospital, in Munster, Ind. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Arts from the College of St. Francis.
