Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Chris Bishop has the privilege of leading the largest private, surgery center operator serving the physician and hospital joint venture market. He is responsible for ensuring that his operational and clinical teams drive exceptional quality and innovation, while positioning Regent to scale its rapidly expanding national portfolio of surgery centers and health system partnerships.
Chris is a frequent speaker and healthcare media contributor. He serves on the board of Regent Surgical Health and is a founding board member of not for profit Cul2vate in Nashville, a member of the Nashville Leadership Healthcare Council, and actively supports training of underprivileged township entrepreneurs to launch micro-enterprise development in South Africa.
Prior to Regent, Chris steered VC-funded Blue Chip to accelerate EBITDA growth via acquisition/turnaround and de novo development and served as Vice President, Acquisitions and Business Development, at Ambulatory Surgery Centers of America.
A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Chris lives in Nashville with his wife Jayne and children Davis and Katherine.
